The Agricultural Fisheries Cooperative of Etoliko \"Rembakia\" was established in 2008 with its headquarters in Etoliko of the Municipality of Messolonghi of the Prefecture of Aitoloakarnania and is governed by the provisions of Law No. 4673\/2020. The cooperative is registered in the National Register of Agricultural Cooperatives and other collective bodies under the number AM 0701028. It is governed by a five-member Board of Directors and a General Assembly. Its members are professional fishermen who live and work in the Municipality of Messolonghi. The cooperative is a member of the Association of Fishing Cooperatives of Greek Lagoons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main purpose of the cooperative is the leasing and exploitation of the fish farms of the lagoons directed by the Public Sector, the marketing of fish and the development of fishing tourism activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Until today since 2010 the cooperative leases and operates the fish farm Prokopanistos of the Central Lagoon of Messolonghi. After the successful completion of an investment project in Measure 2.1 of the \u0395\u03a0\u0391\u039b 2007-2013 and in accordance with the provisions of the institutional framework, the 331049\/39537\/10.12.2015 act of amendment of the contract was issued, extending the lease period until the end of February 2023. In 2022, it succeeded in directly leasing the fish farm until 2033 by means of the Decision no. \u03b1\u03c0.\u03bf\u03b9\u03ba.\u03a0\u0394E\/\u0394\u0391OK\u03a0\u0395\u0391\u0399\u03a4\/99756\/331927\/45298\/02.11.22 (\u0391\u0394\u0391: \u03a1\u039f\u0395\u03a67\u039b6-T96).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

During the years in which the cooperative operates it has implemented and participated in investment and researching programs with the purpose of the modernization of the fishing facilities and the improvement and rationalizations of the fishing management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the annual evaluation reports of the exploitation compiled by the competent Fisheries Services of the Region of Western Greece, the exploitation which the cooperative exercises has been characterized as successful.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
